race features:
Creature Type. Although small and flightless, you are nonetheless a Dragon.   Darkvision. Accustomed to twilit forests and the night sky, you have superior vision in dark and dim conditions. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can't discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.   Dinoavian Senses. You can discern detail form 5 times as far and you always know which direction is north.   Mimicry. Klaxcis have an incredible range in their vocal cords, allowing them to accurately mimic sounds they have heard, including voices, animal sounds and musical instruments, and even transform them in convincing ways. A creature that hears the sounds you make can tell they are imitations only with a successful Wisdom (Insight) check against a DC of 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Charisma modifier.   Dexterous Break. Your beak can function as a third hand, allowing you to hold minor items, wield one-handed weapons and use spellcasting focuses, while not preventing you from speaking, using the Mimicry trait or providing verbal components to spells.   Feathered Descent. While your hands aren't occupied and you aren't incapacitated, you can choose to fall at 60 feet per round and not take falling damage upon landing, similar to the feather fall spell. Additionally, while you're falling in this way, you can glide across the horizontal axis by using your movement speed.   Legacy of Frost and Blaze. Klaxcis can be characterized in two major populations, those more accustomed to warmer and arid regions and those who call the fridged poles of the world home. Choose one environment:   - Arid: You are resistant to fire damage and know the Ray of Frost cantrip.   - Polar: You are resistant to cold damage and know the Fire Bolt cantrip.   These cantrips only require verbal components and a free beak to cast, due to them coming out as bursts of elemental breath, and use Intelligence, Wisdom or Charisma as the spellcasting ability (your choice when you select this race).   Winged Leaps. While your hands aren't occupied and you aren't incapacitated, your long and high jumps are equal to your movement speed, with or without a running start.   Hollow Bones. Your hit point maximum is reduced by 1, and it reduces by 1 when you gain a level. You can gain the minimum of 1 hit point each time you gain a level.
