Nonhuman Race

Nonhuman races in Hinomoto usually have a greater affinity to Mahojutsu, making them excellent mages.
If you don't already have the spellcasting feature, you gain spell slots as if you are a half-caster. If you already do have the spellcasting feature, your spell slots per spell level increases by 2 for levels 4 and below, and by 1 for levels 5 and above.

Arcane Recovery

Being a native to magic you can regain some of your magical energy. Once per day when you finish a Short Rest, you can choose expended Spell Slots to recover. The Spell Slots can have a combined level that is equal to or less than half your level (rounded up), and none of the slots can be 6th Level or higher.
For example, if you’re a 4th level, you can recover up to two levels worth of Spell Slots. You can recover either a 2nd-level spell slot or two 1st-level Spell Slots.
If you already have this feature from the Wizard class, you gain an additional use of that feature.
