He is a leader who takes count of what needs to be done and makes sure the community is surviving. The Setifawn is almost always male and chosen from a group of strong men by the Unirin who's job is to manage the people themselves, she is almost always female. Like lions female cervus do the fighting and hunting carrying their children on their backs so they pick up early the way of the arrow and blade. The males care for the children the rest of the time. They also deal with trade, fishing, harvesting, and Smithing. When a male fawn grows to a juvenile he is sent to a neighboring community to find love. This does mean interbreeding with cervus is not uncommon as orcs, human, kobolds, goblins, gnolls, and at one point elves all lived around cervus communities. No two weapons are the same in cervus communities, when a male and female cervus become married their ceremony involves them making a bow and arrow together putting each of their unique designs into it. After marriage the male will make 4 swords each unique. 1 for himself, 1 for his wife, 1 for his first born, and 1 for his second born. Then on the third day of ceremony they travel to a river alone together. They make up for their physical ineptitude with cleverness, magical prowess, and weapon skill. They love wyverns and have even been know to make wyverns a home, daily meals, and protect them from bigger threats like dragons. This mainly has to do with their god mordyrs attraction to wyverns, this has caused unique deer like wyvern hybrids called odemef to be born into the world by him.
