A swarm of bloodthirsty bees. Although likened to a vampiric cousin of a bumblebee, bloodhoney bees have several genetic differences. Their stinger is used to fill their expandable abdomen with creatures' blood. The blood is digested and turned into a dark red, bitter honey that the bees then store in their hive. Bloodhoney bees are mere annoyances on their own, but swarms can exsanguinate smaller animals in minutes, especially when their hive is threatened.
