Darkvision: Atroxen have a cat’s keen senses, especially in the dark. They can see in dim light within 60 feet as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. They can’t discern color in darkness, only shades of gray. Predatory Attacks: Atrox claws are natural weapons, which they can use to make unarmed strikes. If they hit with them, they deal slashing damage equal to 1d4 + their Dexterity modifier, instead of the bludgeoning damage normal for an unarmed strike. Additionally, Atroxen have powerful jaws which can be used to bite. If they hit with the attack, it deals piercing damage equal to 1d4 + their Strength modifier. Intense Roar: As a bonus action, an Atrox can let out an especially intense roar. Creatures of its choice within 20 feet of it that can hear it must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw or become frightened of it until the end of its next turn. The DC of the save equals 8 + its proficiency bonus + its Constitution modifier. Once it use this trait, it can’t use it again until it finishes a short or long rest. Starting at level 5 the Atrox can choose to instead use this roar to motivate its allies, allies within 20 ft that can hear the roar gain inspiration. Natural Hunters: Atroxen have proficiency in one of the following skills; Perception, Investigation, Survival, Stealth, or Nature.
