Age: Yuan-Ti reach maturity at the same rate as humans and have the same maximum life span   Alignment: Yuan-Ti have a deep value for inwards perfectionism and social conformity, as such they tend towards the lawful end of the spectrum.   Size: Yuan-Ti have the same height range as humans. Your size is Medium   Hardy Genetics: Yuan-Ti have a resistance to poison and disease, and immunity to the Poisoned condition.

Genetic Mastery: Having perfected the ability to alter their own bodies, Yuan-Ti may choose from a plethora of improvements to their bodies. At 1st level you may choose one of the following four traits.   Wasting Bite: You develop long, protruding fangs that ooze with necrotic venom. When you make an attack action you can choose to attack using your natural fangs. The fangs deal 1d6 necrotic damage + DEX piercing damage on hit. They can be used as part of a multi-attack action.   Vibration Detection: You develop glands in the back of your head to detect movement around you. You gain Tremor-sense up to 30ft around you, and have advantage on perception and stealth rolls against creatures in that range. You also become immune to the deafened effect.   Integrated Magic: You enhance your body's natural attunement to magic, granting you several innate spells. You learn the Poison Spray and Thaumaturgy cantrips, and can cast Cause Fear and Command once per day. Constitution is your casting stat for these spells.

At 5th Level you may choose a second of these four traits, or choose from an additional four below.   Poison-Protection. You become immune to poison and disease, and when a creature makes a natural weapon attack that deals poison damage, you can use your reaction to inflict the damage they rolled back to them in Necrotic damage.   Perfect-Eyes. You gain the ability to see in darkness and dim light as though they were bright light up to 100ft away, and become immune to the blindness effect.   Mental Shielding: You enhance your mental defenses to the peak of possibilities. You gain resistance to psychic damage, as well as spells or abilities that cause the charmed or frightened effect. When you succeed a saving throw against being charmed or frightened, the creature that attacked you believes that you failed the save.
