Ferral often prefer to live their lives away from large settlements and busy roads, choosing the life of a hunter over farmers or craftsmen. In ancient times the Ferral were mistaken as Fey, thanks to their reclusive nature, often leaning towards Druidic practices and are fierce defenders of the land they call home. They are mighty hunters, skilled in the art of tracking down and slaying beasts, making game of creatures of the fiercest variety.
Age: Ferral reach adulthood around age 15, however, they are expected to assume responsibilities around age 5 and live to be about 60 years old.
Darkvision: You can see dim light within 60 feet of you as bright light and in darkness as if it was in dim light. You can't discern color in darkness, only shades of grey.
Natural Agility: You gain proficiency in Acrobatics or Athletics
Natural Hunter: You gain the ability to cast Hunter’s Mark once per day as a bonus action.
Keen Hearing and Smell: You have advantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks that rely on hearing or smell.
Skill Proficiencies: Choose two from Stealth, Investigation, Animal Handling, Nature, or Survival
Tool Proficiencies: Choose one from Leather worker's Tools, Woodcarver's Tools, or Herbalism Kit
Languages: Choose one of the following exotic languages: Giant, Deep Speech, Draconic, Primordial, Sylvan, or Undercommon
Wildfolk Weapon Training: You are proficient with the Longbow and Shortbow, Daggers and Throwing Axes.
Hunter's Creed: Woodsmen recognize you as someone who works to kill the beasts and monsters that stalk the land. Were you in a city, you would be considered a trusted guard stalking the night in search of murderers and brigands. Rangers, hunters, guides, and other such creatures will provide aid, lodging, and are more likely to answer the call to hunt dangerous prey through their respective terrain.
