Surprise Attack
If the bugbear surprises a creature and hits it with an attack during the first round of combat, the target takes an extra 2d6 damage from the attack.

When the bugbear makes a melee attack on its turn, the attack's reach increases by 5 ft.
Rage
Aard can enter a rage as a Bonus Action. During this state he has: Advantage on Strength checks and Strength Saving Throws; a +2 bonus to the damage roll (included in the attack Resistance to Bludgeoning, Piercing and Slashing damage.
Danger Sense
Aard has advantage on Dexterity Saving throws against traps and spells he can see.
Reckless Attack
Aard can gain Advantage on his Attack Rolls, at the cost of granting advantage on attacks made against him.
Greataxe of Crippling (+1)
Melee Weapon Attack: +8 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 3d6+8 , if the target takes damage 1.5 x its AC the target becomes crippled, reducing its movement by halve and giving disadvantage made on attack rolls for 2 turns.
Shout: Unrelenting Force (Once per 10 min)
Fus Ro Dah. Aard recalls the dragon shout he learned in the giant's lair. He releases a magnificent fore in a 30-foot cone from him. Each creature in that cone must make a Strength Saving Throw. On a failed save, a creature takes 4d6 force damage, is knocked back 20 ft., and falls prone. On a success, the creature takes half damage and suffers no other effects.
