Wondrous Item This item is an amulet given to graduates of the University of Beastiology. It bears the familiar paw print insignia of the University in a gemstone shown on the table. All gemstones allow the owner to cast one Druid cantrip of their choice. Roll 1d8 for Gemstone Type 1: Jade 2: Saphire 3: Ruby 4: Amethyst 5: Aquamarine 6: Quartz 7: Diamond 8: Amber Each gemstone grants a different effect, outlined below. The amulet has 3 charges, regaining 1d3 at dawn. Jade As an action, the owner summons one willing creature that it knows the name of for 1d6 hours. The creature is friendly to the owner of the stone and any other disclosed creature unless attacked. The creature returns to its original place one the time has expired or can be sent back as a bonus action. Saphire In a bright flash of light, the owner invokes the speed of the eagle, temporarily blinding all creatures within a 30ft sphere (Constitution Save DC 18). At any time on their next turn, they can take a bonus action or reaction to make the Dash action. Ruby As an action, the owner invokes the strength of the bear, all melee weapon attacks made on their next turn deal an extra 1d8 damage and count as magical attacks to overcome resistances. Amethyst As an action, the user teleports to an unoccupied space up to 60ft away and is invisible for the following turn. Aquamarine As an action, the user invokes the swimming prowess of the dolphin, growing gills and fins. Their swimming speed is equal to double their walking speed for 1d4 hours. Quartz As an action, the user gains resistance to all nonmagical attacks for the following turn and their spell save DC becomes 20 if it is not higher. Diamond As an action, the owner gains proficiency in all skills for 1d6 hours or until the effect has been ended as a bonus action. Amber As an action, the user invokes the toughness of the tortoise, growing a shell that gives them an AC akin to Plate Armor, including stealth disadvantage for 1d6 hours.
