Flaming Saber of the Swifthanded (Scimitar, +1)

As a bonus action on your turn, the saber activates up to 2 (minimum of 1) of the following effects in an order of your choosing.

  1. A perfect magical copy of the Saber appears at a location of your choosing inside your 5-foot radius. There can be up to 5 Sabers active at any given time. The copies burn up like paper and disappear the instant they go more than 5 feet from you horizontally or more than 10 feet vertically.
  2. The blade of any currently active Sabers bursts into magical flame. This flame does not go out underwater and gives off dim light for 30 feet. Any flaming Sabers have their damage die changed to a d8 and do your choice of fire or slashing damage. This effect has 4 charges which replenish on a long rest.
