Champions Twinaxes

Weapon +1 Magical Battleaxes
Versatile, Thrown (range 20/60)
1d8 slashing or 1d8 bludgeoning
+1 to all attack rolls and +1 to all damage rolls

This twin pair of battleaxes are built with a unique construction. A half-moon face with a weighted back, they are extremely well balanced. Designed to be wielded one-handed, the one attuned to these weapons gains the Dual Wielder feat. The blade of these axes are perfectly suited for slashing damage whereas the aft is completely competent at bludgeoning foes.

Each critical hit dealt with these axes casts Compelled Duel on the target hit. (The creature turns to face you. It has disadvantage on attacks against creatures other than you. Any time it attempts to move more than 30 feet from you, it must pass a Wisdom saving throw first or forfeit its move.)

Dual Wielder - You master fighting with two weapons, gaining the following benefits:

  • You gain a +1 bonus to AC while you are wielding a separate melee weapon in each hand.
  • You can use two-weapon fighting even when the one handed melee weapons you are wielding aren’t light.
  • You can draw or stow two one-handed weapons when you would normally be able to draw or stow only one.
