Flaws
By Popular Demand
You can always find a place to perform in any place that features combat for entertainment — perhaps a gladiatorial arena or secret pit fighting club. At such a place, you receive free lodging and food of a modest or comfortable standard (depending on the quality of the establishment), as long as you perform each night. In addition, your performance makes you something of a local figure. When strangers recognize you in a town where you have performed, they typically take a liking to you.
Ring Name
Your skills as a gladiator have brought you fame (or infamy) and you are widely known by a ring name – a moniker which protects your identity. It might be a fictional first name and also a surname, a nickname (“jumbo joe”) or a descriptive title (“The Brutal Barbarian”).

This ring name has been developed by many gladiators into a full-blown stage persona, including the gimmicks and also exaggerated quirks which make their performance much more exciting and memorable. You are encouraged to work with your dungeon master to flesh out the details of this persona.

Your ring name functions powerfully as a second identity, You might not be recognized while wearing normal clothing and traveling under your real name, but people far and wide will recognize you and treat you accordingly whenever you are wearing your costume and going by your stage name.
