Thunderous Crash

1-level Evocation

Casting Time 1 action
Range 20 feet
Duration instantaneous
Components V S
Materials Melee Weapon

The caster leaps into the air and forcefully slams back down, using it as momentum for a weapon strike. The weapon is imbued with electricity during the short flight, causing sparks to fly around it. Upon impact a peal of thunder emanates loudly from the weapon as it hits its foe/the ground. You fly 20 feet in a direction of your choosing and make a basic melee attack against a creature. On a hit you deal 2d4 additional lightning damage. Additionally, each creature in a 10-foot radius originating from you besides the target of your attack must make a Constitution saving throw. On a failed save, a creature takes 1d6 thunder damage.

If the sorcerer is of the storm bloodline, they may double the effect of their Heart of the Storm feature.
At higher levels: When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 2nd level or higher, the damage increases by 2d4 for the original target for each slot level above 1st.
