-Pack Master: When there is an Alpha Nakhun in the battle, all other Nakhun gain advantage in Wisdom and Intelligence saving throws until it dies.
-Motivational Roar: At the start of each round, the Alpha Nakhun makes a Charisma (Persuasion) check. If it scores a 15 or higher, all other Nakhun gain advantage on Constitution saving throws until the end of the round.
-Claw Kick: Melee attack, deals 1d4+2 slashing damage with its foot claws. Makes a Strenght (Athletics) check ( d20+0 ): if it scores a 15 or higher, the attacker is knocked back 5ft and falls prone.
-Nakhun Bite: Melee attack, deals [1d4+2] piercing damage + 1 poison damage.
-Cobra Spit: Ranged attack, deals 2 poison damage and inflicts the Poisoned condition if it suceeds.
-Empathy: If a regular Nakhun is killed or suffers a critical hit, the Alpha Nakhun has the ability to choose to use a Claw Kick or Cobra Spit on the attacker. If Claw Kick is used, it will always knock back the target, without an ability check needed; if Cobra Spit is used, it will inflict 3 poison damage rather than 2.
The elder leaders of the pack, Alpha Nakhuns are quickly distinguished from your average desert hunters by their wider, verdant head frills. These twin crests are the symbol of their dominance, their leadership towards the pack they live with. There's no Nakhun pack that can be refered to as such without one Alpha Nakhun to lead them in the battle. No alpha leads to a disorganized and ineffective group, whereas two or more alphas in the same place are very likely to fight each other for dominance. A Nakhun becomes an alpha in the later stages of life, to the point where they can be considered elders, and as such, they are not as fast and agile as the younger members of the pack, nor do they have the same spitting accuracy as them. However, the many years of life they have gone through before reaching this level have gifted them with intelect and experience, allowing them to command their fellow pack members and coordinate ambushes, while also forming a strong bond with them. Whenever facing a Nakhun pack, having the Alpha be your prime target is a good strategy, but beware of the other pack members, as they are more than willing to defend their master.
Found in desert islands, in the planet Eox.
