With a shout, you cause a veritable storm of small, piercing projectiles to rain upon your foes, piercing their flesh and pinning them to the floor. Each creature in a 40-foot-radius, 20-foot-high cylinder centered on the point must make a Dexterity saving throw. On a failed save, a creature takes 6d6 piercing damage, is knocked prone, and is restrained by projectiles pinning it to the floor. On a successful save, a creature takes half damage and is neither restrained nor knocked prone. A creature restrained by projectiles can use its action to make on a Strength (Athletics) or Dexterity (Acrobatics) check contested by your spell save DC. On a success, it is no longer restrained.
