Harden/Soften Stone

2-level Transmutation (ritual)

You touch a stone object of Medium size or smaller or a section of stone no more than 5 feet in any dimension and can reduce or increase the hardness of the stone. This can allow for a section of stone to become as soft as dirt (for the purposes of the Mold/Move Earth spells) or as hard as steel (making it immune to the effects of spells that would be able to alter or travel through stone). The spell does not allow you to move the earth as a part of this spell.
