Magic Mimic (WIP)

Pseudopod. Melee Weapon Attack: 1d20+8 to hit, reach 15 ft., one target. Hit: 27 4d10+5 bludgeoning damage. If the mimic is in object form, the target is subjected to its Adhesive trait.   Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: 1d20+8 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 27 4d10+5 piercing damage plus 22 4d10 acid damage. The target must succeed on a DC 16 Dexterity saving throw or be swallowed by the mimic. This particular mimic then casts the spell Maze on the target upon entering the mimic's stomach. This occurs on the same turn as the swallowing. If the mimic loses concentration, it will regurgitate the swallowed creature, which falls prone in a space within 10 feet of the mimic. If the mimic dies, a swallowed creature can escape from the corpse by using 20 feet of movement, exiting prone. If the spell's duration passes, the creature is "officially" swallowed by the mimic and begins making death saves. Only one creature at a time may be subject to this.   Side note: This mimic's stomach does not contain the acid that other mimics do. Instead, it regurgiates swallowed victims once in its nest and proceeds to chew them down in order to eat.

A mimic that is capable of using spells. Nobody really knows how though.
