The Rokalans, colloquially know as a firearm for the distinctive fire it emits when used, is a small, single-handed weapon designed during the Great Dragon War in an attempt to create a portable projectile launcher for piercing dragon hide. By merging single use explosive runes, and a liberal amount of blackpowder, the weapon is capable of firing refined projectiles that resemble bodkin arrows with an excessive amount of force. However, due to the short barrel length, it was quickly discovered that the Rokalans lost most of its impact potential past twenty feet, making it incredibly dangerous to actually use against the draconic foes it was made to combat.
