Chamelmen

The Chamelmen, cousins to the Lizardfolk, have long lived in the jungles and arid lands of Meli'stra. Strong, resilient, and stealthy cold blooded hunters that can hide in plain sight for days waiting to pounce on their prey. Through their spiritual connection with nature they have learned how to manipulate their aura to a certain degree as well to help with hidind. They typicaly live to 80 years old, and can range anywhere from 4' and 80 pounds to 7' 6" and 350 pounds on average. Personality wise they tend towards True Neutral as their moods can switch quickly from happy and cheerful to glum or anger. Mostly staying in the extremes unless they have thier minds set on hunting.

Adaptive Aura- While standing still you can use an action to hide and blend into your surroundings. You gain a +10 to your stealth checks while hidden this way, and an additional +5 to the first attack or grapple you make against a creature you are successfuly hidden from in this way. You lose these benefits if you move from the spot you took this hide action, or if you take any action.   Prehensile Tongue- You can attempt to grapple a creature at up to 15 feet with your tongue. If a creature is successfuly grappled in this way you may pull them to an unoccupied space within 5ft of you as appart of the grapple. You also gain advantage to attack any creature grappled by your tongue.   Panoramic Vision- You can see all around you without having to turn your head or body. You gain +5 to your passive perception and you gain prodicency in perception.   Cold Blooded- As long as you take a long rest in a constant warm environment you don't have to eat but once every third long rest.   Connection to Nature- You gain proficency in Nature and Survival, or expertise in one of those. You also naturally can use 'Aura Vision'.   Claws- You can use your claws as 'finesse' 'light' weapons that deal 1d4 slashing damage. They also give you your climing speed.   Natural Armor- Your AC while not wearing armor is 13 + your CON modifier thanks to your scales.
They range from small to medium size, have thin or thick scales that range from shades of green to yellow to blue while not hidden, and they have large bulbous colorful eyes. They also tend to have sharp claws and prehensile tails.
