Servant Extra Class: Beast (Player Characters)

Beasts are a special servant class. Extremely rare, and capable of bringing ruin to civilization, should one ever appear. Beasts represent the collective evils/sins of the people. When all of the sins have condensed over the course of who-knows-how-long, it may end up calling up a Beast-class servant. As such, Beasts are virtually never summoned by an individual. They pretty much always independently manifest themselves.   This is an Extra class. In order to take this Extra Class you must be a Servant, be level 3, Constitution and one other ability score of your choice must be 14 or higher, and have a Chaotic or Evil alignment. This is the version for player characters   Many thanks to Graywolf and his intellect for this contribution

Enter Beasthood

By level 3, should you meet the prerequisite to become a Beast, you rescind your previous class identity. If you have any previous abilities such as Sneak Attack, Spellcasting, etc, they still carry on and scale with your total character level. However, Feats are no longer able to be taken during ability score improvements. Once you become a Beast servant, you lose all ability to hide your servant nature and class (aka Presence Concealment is completely nullified)

Independent Manifestation

You provide enough mana to keep yourself sustained. You use the variant rules of Independent Manifestation. In addition, you may give yourself servant cards using your bonus action (can be done a number of times equal to your PB+1 per long rest). If you make a contract with a Summoner, you do not drain the Summoner’s mana supply for upkeep as much as regular Servants instead only requiring half the regular mana upkeep cost for your Servant rarity (minimum of 2), however your Materialization ability functions as a normal Servant’s and your abilities that would scale with your Summoner now do so, even if it gives you less uses.

Authority of the Beast

You grow a horn or set of horns to signify your status as a Beast Class Servant (known as the Beast's Crown). As a bonus action you can call upon the destructive powers of the Beast Class, for 1 minute, once per turn when you hit a creature with an attack or roll damage for a spell, you can add a number of d4s equal to half your Beast level rounded down(minimum of 1) to the damage roll (is not affected by crits). It ends early if you are knocked unconscious or if your turn ends and you haven't attacked or damaged a hostile creature since your last turn or taken damage since then. You can use this ability once and then must take a long rest before you can use it again.

Nega Skill

At 5th level, you become a proper Beast Class Servant, though your position still remains unknown, as such, all senses and abilities that register you as a Servant will immediately reveal your class as Beast instead of your base class. In addition to this you gain a Personal Skill unique to you (work with the DM to make sure it is balanced).

Special: Extra Attack

If your previous/origin class granted Extra Attack at level 5, you will gain said ability at level 5 again.

Improved Independent Manifestation

At 7th level, your Independent Manifestation grows stronger. You can now move freely through the Ethereal Plane with your Materialization ability, no longer tethered to one spot. Though if you have a contract with a Summoner you are still tethered to them though the distance you can move is 60 feet instead of 30 feet. In addition, you have advantage on saves against effects that would instantly kill you or age you.

Authority of the Beast Improvement

Also at 7th level, you can manifest a greater portion of the powers granted to the Beast Class. Your AotB now deals a number of d6s equal to half your Beast level rounded down instead of d4s. Additionally any humanoid that you damage in that 1 minute must make a saving throw against your AotB DC or be frightened of you until the start of your next turn. AotB DC = 8+PB+ability score modifier you chose when you took this class
