The rings are made in pair and linked via magic. By pressing the stone and speaking the command word, the rings will begin to expand, slowly expand to a diameter of 6 inches. Once laid flat across a surface, on both ends, a portal will open inside the rings, linking them for 1 minute. This allows for the sending of letters, money, and similarly small objects, through the temporary gate. These rings can be used once a day, for a minute.
