Qech
The Qech, known as The Buried Ones, are one of the most ancient and enigmatic races of Purity Fields. Living in an intricate network of underground tunnels and caverns, the Qech lead a deeply spiritual and indigenous lifestyle. They are highly attuned to their gods, whom they believe reside within the very earth they inhabit. Their society is organized into tribes known as Vildens, each with its own customs and territories. While generally peaceful, conflicts can arise if one Vilden encroaches upon another's territory.
Qech who leave their underground homes, either by exile or personal choice, are known as Suniseer. These individuals are no longer considered part of the Qech community and are often shunned if they attempt to return.

Qech have a distinctive appearance with skin tones ranging from medium-grey to white. They are born with intricate markings along their skin, which are believed to be a gift from their gods. Their eyes are gold or yellow, giving them an otherworldly look. Qech are humanoid in shape but often move on all fours, displaying their adaptation to underground life. Their hands are thick and muscular, equipped with long, strong fingers designed for digging and climbing. While both genders are bald, the women grow hair that starts at the top of their head and extends down their back. They wear simple clothing made from hides and the carapaces of subterranean creatures.
