2-level Abjuration

Ritual - does not require spell slot, takes 10 minutes longer
Casting Time: 1 Hour
Range/Area: Touch
Components: V, S, M
Materials: A small hourglass filled with quicksilver
Duration: 24 Hours
  • Description: This ritual creates a barrier of distorted time around a target creature or object. The target gains resistance to all damage types for the duration of the ritual as the temporal barrier absorbs and disperses incoming attacks. Additionally, the target gains advantage on saving throws against spells and effects that manipulate time or alter the flow of reality.
  •
  • Consequence: There is a chance that the temporal barrier will become unstable and collapse prematurely. Roll a d20. On a roll of 1-5, the barrier dissipates suddenly, leaving the target vulnerable to attack and temporarily disoriented.
