Arcane Recovery (1/Day). As part of a short rest, the gnome can recover an expended 2nd-level spell slot or two 1st-level spell slots.

Arcane Ward (1/Day). When the gnome casts an abjuration spell of 1st-level or higher, he can simultaneously use a strand of the spell's magic to create a magical ward on him that lasts until he finishes a long rest. The ward grants 8 temporary hit points.

Whenever the gnome casts an abjuration spell of 1st level or higher, the ward regains a number of temporary hit points equal to twice the level of the spell. Even after the ward has 0 hit points, its magic remains & the temporary hit points will recharge for the feature's duration.

Channel Divinity: Touch of Death (1/Day). The gnome can destroy another creature's life force by touch. When he hits a creature with a melee attack, the gnome can use Channel Divinity to deal an extra 13 necrotic damage to the target.

Gnome Cunning. The gnome has advantage on all Intelligence, Wisdom, & Charisma saving throws against magic.
