Shape Change:Ashkal takes a medium humanoid once this form is chosen he can not take any other humanoid forms while in this state Ashkal loses his ability to fly and can only use his claw and breath attacks its walking speed is also 30ft his stats otherwise remain the same.   Prismatic shift:Prismatic Shift 3 times per day Ashkal can use an action to change the type of dragon he is gaining access to new breath weapons and new dragon maneuvers     Ruby (Fire) Molten Body| Duration: 1 minute| Cast: Bonus Action| Range: Self| Effect: While active any creature who attempts to strike Ashkal with a melee attack do so at disadvantage any creatures who successfully hit take 2d4+4 fire damage this effect last for 1 minute. Sapphire (Lightning) Eye of the Storm| Duration: Instant| Cast: Bonus Action| Range: 30ft from self| Effect: Ashkal spreads his wings forming a spiraling black cloud that crackles with electricity with himself at the center he then chooses up to three creatures within 30ft of Himself each target must then make a DC 15 dex save or take 3d12 lightning damage and be stunned till the end of their next turn no damage is taken if they pass the save.   Emerald (Poison) Fog of War |Duration 1 minute| Cast: Bonus Action| Range 30ft radius from self| Effect: Ashkal billows out a sickening green cloud of green gas any creature within the cloud or starts their turn in the cloud must make a DC 15 con save or take 2d6 poison damage and become confused for 1 minute. Any who pass the save only take half damage and do not suffer the confused condition those who did fail to make the save must then roll a d10 and suffer one of the following effects at the start of their turn. 1. The creature uses all of their movement to run away from all creatures and can not take any actions this turn. 2-6 The creature doesn't move or take any actions on this turn. 7-8 The creature attacks the nearest creature within range of the of none are in range it dashes to the nearest creature. 9-10 The creature acts as normal   Opal (Ice)Flash Freeze |Duration instant| Cast Action |Range 30ft cone| Effect: Ashkal rears up expelling a blast of air from his wings dropping the area in front of him any creature caught in cone must make a DC 15 con save or take 3d6 cold and have their movement speed dropped to zero the creatures must make a DC 15 str save to free themselves from the ice any attacks against the creatures while trapped are at advantage.   Obsidian (Acid) Corroding Vapor| Duration: Instant| Cast: Bonus Action| Range: 15ft Cone| Effect: Ashkal spews forth a wave of bubbling acid any creature in range must make a DC 15 dex save or take 3d6 acid damage and become weakened for 1 minute or until they can pass a DC 15 con save creatures suffering from the weakened condition suffer the following effects 1. all melee attacks now deal half damage and now have disadvantage on all acrobatics and athletics checks 2. their movement speed is reduced by 10ft   Onyx (Necrotic) Sanguinary Embrace| Duration: Instant| Cast: Action| Range: 15ft Radius around self| Effect: Ashkal clamps his jaws down upon one target within a 15ft radius self the target must make a DC 15 dex save or become grappled and take 8d6 necrotic damage which can be used to heal Ashkal and his rider up to the amount dealt split between the two the rider must be within 10ft of Ashkal for this.   Azurite (Force) Stalwart Aegis| Duration:1 minute| Cast: Action| Range:30ft Radius centered from self| Effect: Ashkal rears up and extends his wings three creatures of his choice within a 30ft radius of him are struck by a beam of dazzling blue light and gain the following effects +3 to their AC, Resistance to all nonmagical damage for 1 minute however all attacks targeting Ashkal have advantage and his movement speed is halved for the duration of the effect.   Pearl (Radiant) Divine Replenishment| Duration: Instant| Cast: Action| Range:15ft Radius centered on self| Effect: From Ashkal a blinding pure light erupts flowing into 3 creatures of his choice withing a 15ft radius of him the light rejuvenating and mending the wounds upon their flesh and soul healing the selected creatures for 5D6 and removing any negative conditions the targets maybe suffering at the time.

Actions

Multiattack :Once the rider has gained access to extra attack the dragon companion may use any of the following attacks once per turn following the rules of attacking as a dragon companion. Bite: Me weapon attack +5 to hit range 5ft one target 2d10+6 piercing plus 1d8 of the current gem dragon type   Tail: Melee weapon attack +5 to hit range 10ft one target 1d8+6 bludgeoning damage   Claw: Melee weapon attack +5 to hit range 5ft one target 2d6+6 slashing damage   Breath Weapon: (Once per long or short rest) Ranged weapon attack +5 to hit range (Based off currently equipped gem type which can be found listed below) damage 10d6 of the current gem type   Onyx Blade: As a bonus action, you coat the weapon in black flames for 1 minute. While these flames last, the weapon deals an additional 3d6 lightning damage on a hit. +9 to hit range 10ft reach damage 2d6+6

Ashkal is a magnificent creature, unlike any other dragon known to roam the realms. Their scales shimmer and glimmer with an ethereal brilliance, resembling facets of precious gemstones, each reflecting the light in a kaleidoscope of colors. As they move, their form seems to shift and transform, as if the very essence of the gemstones they embody is in constant flux.   Ruby Form (Fire): When Ashkal takes on the form of a ruby, their scales blaze with fiery intensity, emanating heat and flames that scorch all who dare to oppose them. Sapphire Form (Lightning): In their sapphire form, Ashkal crackles with electrical energy, bolts of lightning dancing across their scales, ready to strike with devastating force.   Emerald Form (Poison): As an emerald, Ashkal exudes a toxic aura, their scales dripping with venomous potency that can sicken and weaken even the hardiest of foes.   Opal Form (Ice): When Ashkal assumes the form of an opal, their scales become as cold as the heart of winter, emanating an icy chill that freezes all in their path.   Obsidian Form (Acid): In their obsidian form, Ashkal becomes a harbinger of dissolution, their scales dripping with corrosive acid that eats away at armor and flesh alike.   Onyx Form (Necrotic): As an onyx, Ashkal embodies the darkness of the abyss, their scales suffused with necrotic energy that drains the life force from their adversaries.   Azurite Form (Force): When Ashkal takes on the form of azurite, they become a manifestation of pure energy, their scales pulsating with forceful power capable of shattering barriers and defying resistance.   Pearl Form (Radiant): In their pearl form, Ashkal radiates with divine light, their scales gleaming with radiant energy that purges darkness and banishes evil from the land.
