Camouflage. The assassin bug has advantage on Dexterity (Stealth) checks if it has not fed in the past 2 hours. It has disadvantage on Dexterity (Stealth) checks if it has fed in the past 2 hours.

Actions

Blood Drain. Melee Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, 5' reach, one creature. Hit: 8 (2d4 + 3) piercing damage & 5 (2d4) necrotic damage. The target's hit point maximum is reduced by an amount equal to the necrotic damage taken, & the assassin bug regains hit points equal to that amount. The reduction lasts until the target finishes a long rest. The target dies if this effect reduces its hit point maximum to 0.

Sting. Melee Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, 5' reach, one creature. Hit: 7 (1d8 + 3) piercing damage. The creature must succeed on a DC 14 Constitution saving throw or become paralyzed by the assassin bug's poison for 7 (2d6) minutes. The creature can repeat the saving throw as an action on its turn to end the paralysis. Once a creature passes the saving throw, it is immune to the assassin bug's poison for the next 24 hours.

Bonus Actions

Nimble Escape. The assassin bug can take the Disengage or Hide actions as bonus actions.
