  • Actions

Touch of Beyond. Melee Spell Attack: +6 to hit, reach 5 ft., one creature. Hit: target must make a DC 15 constitution saving throw, or suffer 21 (6d6) cold damage, or half as much on a successful saving throw. Creatures that fail the saving throw have disadvantage on strength saving throws until the end of their next turn.   Omen Step. The Wisp of Will can expend up to its remaining movement to teleport to an unoccupied space it can see within range. Omen Step creates a 5ft line from the Wisp of Wills location before it teleports and final location, where each creature with this line must succeed a DC 12 Strength saving throw or be knocked prone.

The shadows of the travellers and warriors lost to the dark; whos animation continues, possessed of a cruel intelligence given by something laying deeper beneath the shadowfell. They seek to find lost or vulnerable living humanoids, such that they can drain the warmth from them, giving them the sensation of living once more. Each Wisp of Will appears as a vaguely humanoid figure, the details of which impossible to distinguish from the lack of light to illuminate their form. As they are illuminated, they appear as a black hole in the shape of a humanoid; more distinct, with more hard edges... mortal. Killable.   Shadowfell Wisp of Will's rarely appear alone, as their cold intelligence understands the advantage of forming crowds to smother unprepared settlements. As Wisp of Will crowds increase in size, the intelligence of the group grows and becomes further coordinated. Small crowds of 4-7 Wisp of Wills often employ lure tactics, coordinating single members to bait overeager adventurers into over-extending, and being collapsed upon by the remaining members of the crowd who hide nearby. Larger crowds with 8-15 members plan and carry out highly coordinated raids on even well prepared settlements, often with clandestine goals and means. When a crowd reaches a size of 16 members, they promptly break into 2 crowds of 8, and create a Talismens of Cocoliij, which are split in 2 and divided between the new crowds.
