You cause shadows to coalesce into an obsidian blade in one of your empty hands. If you are unable to hold the blade, the spell fails. The blade has the statistics of a scimitar; however you are considered proficient with the weapon and can use your spell casting modifier instead of strength for attack and damage rolls. The first time you hit a creature with this weapon on a turn, it must make a Wisdom saving throw as the blade emits baleful energies. On a failure, the creature takes an additional 3d6 necrotic damage. As an action, you may throw the blade up to 30ft at a target. Make a ranged spell attack, dealing 6d6 necrotic damage on a hit. Hit or miss, the blade is destroyed and the spell ends.
