Your eyes glow with a ghastly light as you gaze at a creature you can see within 60ft. The target must make a Constitution saving throw. On a failed save, the creature takes 2d8 necrotic damage and is frightened until the end of your next turn. On a successful save, it takes half as much damage and isn't frightened.

At higher levels: When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 2nd level spell or higher, the damageincreases by 2d8 for each slot level above 1st.
