Feyborn

Feyborn are the heirs of bloodlines that trace their origins to visitors from the Spritevales, a fickle realm of illusion and light, and they inherit an innate magical connection to that realm. They are always the oldest of their living siblings, and if a feyborn dies before having children of their own, their next oldest sibling will begin to develop the traits from their otherworldly ancestry.

Changeling Influence. You have proficiency in the Deception and Persuasion skills.

Mind of the Spritevales. You have advantage on saving throws against being charmed or frightened, and you cannot be put to sleep against your will.

Fey Magic. You know the Friends cantrip. Once you reach 3rd level, you can cast the Sleep spell once as a 2nd level spell. Once you reach 5th level, you can also cast the Alter Self spell once. You must finish a long rest to cast these spells again with this trait. Constitution is your spellcasting ability for these spells.

On the surface, a feyborn is almost indistinguishable from a human. However, there are some subtle differences. Feyborn often have smaller, more pointed ears, and their skin may look slightly translucent. They also tend to have larger eyes and more vibrant eye colors.
