Size: Chimerians typically stand between 5 and 7 feet tall. Your size is Medium.   Darkvision Thanks to your bestial heritage, you have superior vision in dark and dim conditions. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can't discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.   Keen Senses: You have proficiency in the Perception skill.   Natural Weapons: You possess natural weapons, reflecting the features of your chimeric ancestry. Choose one of the following options:
  • Lion's Roar: You can use your action to unleash a mighty roar. Each creature of your choice within 10 feet of you that can hear you must make a Constitution saving throw (DC 8 + your Constitution modifier + your proficiency bonus) or be frightened until the end of your next turn. Once you use this ability, you can't use it again until you finish a short or long rest.
  • Goat's Charge: When you move at least 20 feet straight toward a creature and then hit it with a melee weapon attack on the same turn, that target must succeed on a Strength saving throw (DC 8 + your Strength modifier + your proficiency bonus) or be knocked prone. Once you use this ability, you can't use it again until you finish a short or long rest.
  • Serpent's Bite: Your natural weapons include a venomous bite. When you make an unarmed strike, you can choose to deal poison damage instead of bludgeoning damage. The target must make a Constitution saving throw (DC 8 + your Constitution modifier + your proficiency bonus) or take additional poison damage equal to your Constitution modifier.
Multiattack: You can make two unarmed strikes or use your natural weapons in place of an unarmed strike.
Physical Characteristics: Chimerians typically stand between 5 and 7 feet tall, with a robust and athletic build. Their appearance is a captivating medley of animal features, reflecting the diverse nature of their ancestry. Horns sprout from their heads, wings extend from their backs, and tails lash behind them. Their eyes gleam with a primal intensity, hinting at the beast within.   Temperament and Alignment: Chimerians are as diverse in temperament as the creatures that contribute to their lineage. Their chaotic nature reflects the constant internal struggle between their various animalistic instincts. Some Chimerians are boisterous and outgoing, embracing the wild aspects of their heritage, while others are more reserved and introspective, seeking to balance their conflicting natures. As a result, they tend to lean towards chaotic alignments, embodying the unpredictability of the natural world.   Culture and Society: Chimerians are often nomadic, preferring to roam untamed landscapes where their unique abilities can be fully expressed. They form loose-knit communities, adapting to the ever-changing environments they traverse. The societal structure is flexible, with leaders emerging based on strength, wisdom, or a unique talent possessed by an individual Chimerian.   Abilities and Traits: Chimerians possess a range of abilities derived from their chimera ancestry. Their natural weapons, such as the lion's roar, goat's charge, or serpent's bite, showcase the diverse influences that shape their combat prowess. The ability to see in darkness and keen senses reflect the enhanced sensory perception inherited from their animalistic forebears.   Interaction with Other Races: Chimerians are often met with a mixture of curiosity and caution from other races. Some view them as living embodiments of the untamed wild, while others fear the unpredictable nature of their dual instincts. Chimerians, in turn, tend to be accepting of diversity and are open to forming bonds with those who appreciate the richness of their heritage.   Adventurers and Wanderers: Many Chimerians are drawn to the life of an adventurer, seeking to explore the world and discover the secrets of their own existence. The call of the wild is strong within them, and they often find solace in the untamed realms beyond the boundaries of settled civilizations.
