Weaponized Anguish. This creature emits a 60ft. aura centered on themselves. Any creature concentrating on magic within this aura must make a concentration test to maintain concentration with a DC of 12. Any creature attempting to cast magic of 2nd level or lower must succeed a DC 13 WIS saving throw, or have the spell fail and consume the spell slot as if the spell had been cast. The level of spell affected by this effect increases by 1 spell level for each aura they are effected by after the first (e.g. if a spell caster stands with the Weaponized Anguish of 2 Warden Bastion Breakers and attempts to cast a 3rd level spell, they must make a wisdom saving throw).

Actions

Bunt. Melee Improvised Weapon Attack: +1 to hit, reach 5ft., one target. Hit: (1d4) 2 bludgeoning damage.

Usual Tactics

The Warden Bastion Breakers are almost never seen on the battle field unless absolutely needed, as it tends to damage warden morale. As such, they appear only when requested by a company captain, or when a large number of spellcasters are confirmed on the battle field.

The wooden pyres burned with an unnatural fire in the shape of Lathandars seal; the five spiked talismans adorned with the heretics and their traitorous brothers. The tripod base placed upon a rickety wooden cart that shakes as it is pushed forwards across the field.   The poor victims, even the zealous of wardens can understand their fate is one worse than death. Suspended above the ground, their ankles are impaled by thick spikes and their arms are inserted into the hollow recepticles of wooden barbs and splinters to keep their wrists from slipping, their necks bolted with cold metal forcing them to look towards the sky for Lathandars forgiveness in a sickening mockery of a faithful in prayer.   Their psychic screams echo across the battle field, as they are pushed further into battle hoping for the final release of death; disrupting the magic of those who fight against them
