race features:
Hold Breath: Orchans can hold their breath for up to 30 minutes.
Aquatic Heritage: You are adapted to life in the water. You can breathe underwater, and you gain proficiency in the Athletics skill.
Echolocation: You can use your echolocation to navigate and detect creatures underwater. You have advantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks that rely on hearing while underwater.
Powerful Build: You count as one size larger when determining your carrying capacity and the weight you can push, drag, or lift.
Sonar Pulse:
Once per short rest, as an action, you can emit a sonar pulse in a 60-foot cone. All creatures in that cone must make a Constitution saving throw (DC 8 + your Constitution modifier + your proficiency bonus) or be deafened for 1 minute. Deafened creatures can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of their turns, ending the effect on a success. This ability reflects the Orchan's ability to use echolocation defensively.
Ocean's Resilience:
You have advantage on saving throws against being frightened, and you have resistance to cold damage. Your connection to the depths of the ocean grants you a measure of resilience against fear and the biting cold of the deep sea.
Orchans are a humanoid race with features reminiscent of orcas. They have sleek, streamlined bodies, often adorned with black and white markings similar to their aquatic counterparts. Their eyes are intelligent and expressive, reflecting their keen awareness of their surroundings.
