age: Faeril children usually appear to be 8-12 years old in Human aging. As they mature, they vanish and undergo a ritual the Faeril call "the Pilgrimage." After about a year, they return as a fully matured adult, visually in the 20s of Human aging. Faeril do not age or naturally die if consistently able to commune with Aether.
alignment: Faeril are general considered to be Lawful and either Good or Neutral

Skill Proficiencies: Faeril have proficiency in Insight, Nature, and Animal Handling.   Divergent Lineage: You must choose a Sub Race option.   Animal Spirit: Faeril are born intertwined with the spirit of an animal. The specific form of the Animal Spirit is determined by the Sub Race chosen.   As a bonus action, Faeril can take on the form of their Animal Spirit. While in their Spirit Form, their Strength, Dexterity, and Constution scores become that of the Spirit Form, and they gain temporary Hit Points equal to the Hit Points of the Spirit Form. While in their Spirit Form, they can communicate telepathically with creatures within 60ft as long as they speak a language the creature can understand. They cannot cast class-granted spells or use their equipment while shifted.   When the Spirit Form's temporary HP reaches 0, the Faeril reverts to their original form, unconcious, and cannot shift again until they complete a long rest.
