Physical Description

Woobars are the second most intelligent species on Jovalan, only being slightly behind the Kanpolo. They're known for their ray-like bodies, tentacle arms and stubby pairs of legs. Their face is similiar to that of a flying gurnard with rhinopores on their face. While they have a sail on their back, fish-like tail and are as smooth, slippery and slick as a sea slug.

Society

The Woobar are known to be solitary, rarely ever being in a group. When they're in a group it is a group of about 3-5 and are usually related to eachother. Woobar are known to be territorial towards eachother and aren't fond of sharing their territory. You'd often find them living in a shack near a water source, as they will suffocate if they're not wet. They love the warmer regions of Jovalan and some have been reported to live near volcanoes.
  Woobars are often traders and tend to trade with Kanpolo. They would even travel from place to place to trade and collect things to trade with them. They're also known for capturing animals and breeding them too, often selling the males and keeping the females for themselves for breeding. These animals would often be used for pets and mounts. Though there have been cases where they were bred for other reasons, such as farming or blood sports.
  It is also thought that the Kanpolian language originated from the Woobar. As their language has a lot of similarities with the Kanpolos, though the only difference is that when the Woobar speak, there is a lot of bubbling and pops.
