Iconic creatures of brutal, unstoppable power, as well as brazen malice and horrific cruelty, Balors are thankfully so rarely seen on the mortal plane, even by those who make a point to traffic with the darker beings of the multiverse, that they occupy a position of mythic dissociation from reality for most folks. Surely those few unfortunate mortals to have met a Balor in person have died terrible, agonizing deaths, leaving their true nature the stuff of hearsay and legend.

Chaotic Fury
At 1st level, when you select this subclass, you gain a Barbaric Rage.
On your turn, you can enter a rage as a bonus action.
While raging, you gain the following benefits if you aren't wearing armor:
- You have advantage on Strength checks and Strength saving throws.
- When you make a melee weapon attack using Strength, you gain a bonus to the damage roll that increases as you gain levels as a barbarian, as shown in the Rage Damage column of the Barbarian table.
- You have resistance to bludgeoning, piercing, and slashing damage.
- If you are able to cast spells, you can't cast them or concentrate on them while raging.
Your rage lasts for 1 minute. It ends early if you are knocked unconscious or if your turn ends and you haven't attacked a hostile creature since your last turn or taken damage since then. You can also end your rage on your turn as a bonus action.
You may use this ability once per long rest, increasting to twice at 3rd level, three times at 6th level, 4 times at 5th level, and 5 times at 17th level. At 20th level, this Fury becomes your standard state of being.
Inhibited Body
At 1st level, your Blade of Chaos, Body of Fire, Otherworldly Steps, Demonic Titan, and Wings of Fire and Shadow features are dormant and unusable outside of your Chaotic Fury.
Abyssal Strike
Starting at 6th level, you gain an extra attack. Additionally, when you successfuly hit another creature with a melee weapon attack, you can choose to have them make a Strength saving throw (DC 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Charisma modifier) or recieve an additional 2d8 damage and be pushed 10 feet away and knocked prone. On a successful saving throw, bonus damage from this feature is halved and the creature is not pushed back, or knocked prone.
You may use this feature a number of times equal to your Constitution modifier, regaining expended uses after a short or long rest.
Demonic Resilience
At 10th level, your fiendish resilience deepens. You gain resistance to all damage types while in Chaotic Rage, and you can no longer be paralyzed or stunned while in your Chaotic Fury. Additionally, your Inhibited Body feature is disabled, granting you permanent access to your class features.
Abyssal Burst
At 14th level, your demonic power nears its zenith. While in Chaotic Rage, you can unleash an Abyssal Burst as an action. Each creature within 30 feet of you must make a Dexterity saving throw (DC 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Charisma modifier) or take 6d10 fire and 6d10 lightning damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one. Once you use this feature, you can't use it again until you finish a long rest.
