Camouflage: The Snowstalker has advantage on Dexterity (Stealth) checks made to hide in snowy environments and is considered lightly obscured in such conditions.   Invisibility in Snowstorm: While in a snowstorm, the Snowstalker is invisible to creatures without blindsight or truesight.   Snowborne: The creature effortlessly moves through snow as if it were regular terrain, ignoring any movement penalties or difficult terrain effects caused by snow.

Actions

Multiattack. The Snowstalker makes two claw attacks. Claw. Melee Weapon Attack: +6 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 8 (1d8 + 4) slashing damage plus 3 (1d6) cold damage. If the target is a creature, it must succeed on a DC 13 Constitution saving throw or its movement speed is reduced by 5 feet (stacking debuff) until it completes a short rest or receives magical healing. If The target's movement speed is reduced to 0 it is frozen and considdered Paralyzed and can only be thawed by means of a greater restoration spell or the application of constant, gentle heat.   Snowstorm Leap (Recharge 5-6). The Snowstalker magically jumps up to 30 feet forward, leaving a burst of swirling snow in its wake. Each creature within 10 feet of the Snowstalker's starting and ending points must make a DC 13 Dexterity saving throw. On a failed save, the creature takes 9 (2d8) cold damage and is blinded until the end of its next turn. On a successful save, the creature takes half as much damage and isn't blinded.

The Snowstalker, a cunning and elusive creature, is a master of stealth and subterfuge in wintry environments. With its sleek, white fur blending seamlessly with the snow-covered landscape, this small monstrosity is a formidable predator that strikes fear into the hearts of those who traverse icy wildernesses.     The Snowstalker's lithe form and keen senses make it an expert at ambushing its prey during snowstorms. It patiently lies in wait, hidden beneath the snow, observing its surroundings with piercing blue eyes. When the moment is right and it senses the upper hand, it strikes with deadly precision, its icy claws leaving a trail of frost in their wake.

Suggested Environments

Arctic Tundra: Vast stretches of icy tundra offer the perfect habitat for the Snowstalker. Its natural camouflage allows it to blend effortlessly with the frozen landscape, ambushing prey that ventures into its domain.   Blizzard-Stricken Wasteland: During blizzards and snowstorms, the Snowstalker thrives. The howling winds and whiteout conditions provide it with both cover and a disorienting advantage. It becomes virtually invisible to those not possessing the means to see through magical concealment.   Frozen Ruins: Abandoned or forgotten ruins buried in snow and ice create an eerie setting where the Snowstalker makes its lair. These crumbling structures offer plenty of nooks and crannies for the creature to hide and strike from unexpected angles.
