At will: Hand of Nerth: Cosimo releases an inky black projectile from his outstretched hand that has the range of 60 feet and deals 2d8+4 2d8+4 Necrotic damage and an additional 1d6 1d6 Necrotic damage for 1d4 1d4 turns as the bolt corrupts their flesh. Dex save DC 15 for half damage and ignore the corruption damage.

1/day: Shackles of Nerth: Black tendrils erupt from the ground, latching themselves around all hostile creatures within 120 feet of Cosimo. For the next 1d4+2 1d4+2 rounds, these tentacles turn the ground in the area into difficult terrain ( undead do not treat the ground as difficult terrain ). These tendrils cause 6d6 6d6 Necrotic damage, and heal Cosimo equal to the damage each creature takes. Make a Dex save DC 15 to avoid being restrained, and only taking half-damage. A creature that starts its turn in the area and is already restrained by the tentacles takes 3d6 3d6 Necrotic damage, and Cosmio heals for the same amount.   A creature restrained by the tendrils can use its action to make a Strength or Dexterity check (its choice) against DC 15. On a success, it frees itself.

2/day: Shockwave of Nerth: Cosimo releases a Necrotic shockwave that hits all hostile targets within 15 feet of Cosimo for 4d8+4 4d8+4 Necrotic damage. Dex save, DC 15 for half damage. Creatures killed by Shockwave of Nerth immediately rise as Zombies under Cosimo's command. In addition, any friendly undead within this range are healed for 2d8+4 2d8+4 points of damage.


Actions

Hatred: Melee attack ( 1d20 + 7 ) 1d20+7 with the magical bastard sword that deals 1d12+4 1d12+4 Necrotic damage when wielded by Cosmio. Otherwise, this weapon functions as a common longsword. Cosmio may attack with Hatred up to 3 times per round.

Reactions

Bloodied: The first time Cosimo is reduced to half hit points or left in an encounter, Shockwave of Nerth is used immediately as a free action and does not cost Cosimo one of his charges of Shockwave of Nerth.


 

Legendary Actions

Cosmio has 3 Legendary Action Points per turn with which he can do any of the following, even when it is not his turn:   Strength of Death: For 1 legendary action point, Cosmio can automatically succeed at any Strength-based check or save. Cosmio can also use this ability to bypass any resistance to non-magical weapons for one attack.   Iron Will: For 1 legendary action point, Cosimo can automatically succeed at any save and take no damage.
