Reactions

Fierce gnaw. As a reaction, the Howler does an extra bite attack if its target falls prone to the ground.

The origins of Howlers are unknown, usually they stay at locations where strong magic is present. These animals are known to have good night vision and the alphas even have Blindsight. Those who could tame these beasts soon learned that they are evil by nature. They fight for their own interests and even if they lose nothing, they will do everything they can to achieve what they want. They will actively hunt those who use magic and in captivity will do anything to break free.   They have some kind of natural resistance to necromancer magic.
