race features:
  • They're very fast.
  • They're extremely strong and durable/tough due to their dense musculature and hard exoskeleton.
  • They're highly intelligent, cunning, intellectual, clever, smart, adaptive, creative, and resourceful due to having two brains and brainstems, and five hearts.
  • They're naturally very skilled hunters, trackers, warriors, and fighters due to having extremely heightened senses an extra sense that allows them to sense vibrations and electrical currents in the air and ground around them within a twenty foot radius of themselves.
  • Most of them are not very religious, but some are extremely religious, and even fewer yet still are somewhere in between.
  • Most of them very highly value pleasure, fun, leisure, rest, peace, quiet, and comfort, so tend to be kind of lazy, stubborn, and hard to work with at times.
  • They're very shy, timid, cold, distant, and awkward at first, but are usually very kind, open, and friendly once comfortable around others.
  • They can see in nearly complete darkness, but also see fairly well during the day and in more well lit environments.
They have a three sectioned body consisting of a head, torso, and lower body. The entire body is covered in an extremely hard and durable exoskeleton. The head has eight eyes (three larger, and five smaller), two large nostrils used for breathing and smell, and four mandibles/pincers that cover the mouth which is used for eating, drinking, breathing, and verbal communication. The males are often slightly larger with broader shoulders and chests, smaller hips and lower bodies, and bald heads. They usually fulfill roles of soldiers, fathers, hunters, gatherers, security guards, laborers, construction workers, farmers, farmhands, and other similar more physically demanding jobs due to being slightly physically stronger because of their larger size. Males also usually tend to be slightly less intelligent and more friendly towards strangers than females due to their slightly smaller secondary brain. Females oftentimes fulfill roles of mothers, teachers, writers, musicians, artists, politicians, doctors, nurses, and other similar more intellectual and mentally demanding jobs due to their slightly smaller physical size and larger secondary brain and better vibrosense. Females usually have a small amount of hair on their heads and lower bodies which are slightly larger/wider and have two more legs than their male counterparts to more efficiently carry their young and keep them warm. They also usually tend to have smaller torsos which have only two arms and more narrow shoulders. Their heads are mostly the same as the males, but the lower two mandibles are larger to use as a secondary pair of arms to make up for the two missing arms on their torso. All four arms of both males and females terminate in a three fingered clawed hand which is used to interact with their environment, and use and manipulate tools, equipment, weapons, and materials. The four lower legs on the male, and six lower legs on the female are used primarily for locomotion, but are also sometimes incorporated into defensive and/or combative tactics along with the upper four arms and mandibles/pincers. They were at one time an entirely migratory species, but at some point around fifty million years ago, about sixty percent of them started to settle down in various places and form more modern civilizations. The other forty percent of them just kept hunting, gathering, and migrating like their ancestors did. Eventually some small factions of these hunter/gatherer groups split off and formed small primitive tribes slightly more advanced and structured than the groups they split off from, but still not quite as advanced and/or organized as the other sixty percent of the civilized world.
