Boon Scroll

Wondrous Item Magical Very Rare

A magical scroll that is imbued with the blessings of the divine. It has written upon it one Boon of the DM's choice that cannot be identified from the scroll directly. Once used, the scroll burns up and the reader acquires the selected boon for a limited time:

If the boon is passive (always active or auto activates), it lasts for 24 hours.

If the boon is active (requires conscious use), it is treated and activated like a single use cantrip.

If the boon has both a passive and active element, the reader has 24 hours to activate their boon. Upon activation of the boon, the passive ability is lost immediately after.
