race features:
-Darkvision within 60 feet.
-Elswerians can see magic, like a wavelength of light other's eyes cannot perceive. You can see a strangely colored aura around magical items or any source of magic within 30 feet. This sight does not penetrate through objects or barriers, and does not provide you with any insight as to the magic's qualities or powers, only that it is magical in nature.
-As a bonus action, you can teleport to an unoccupied space you can see within 40 feet. Once you use this trait, it must recharge before you can use it again; at the beginning of each of your turns, roll a d6. On a result of 5-6, your teleport recharges and you may use it again.
-Your bite is a natural weapon you can make unarmed strikes with, dealing 1d6 + your Strength modifier in piercing damage; you also regain hit points equal to half the damage you deal, rounded down.
-You cannot choose to inflict non-lethal damage while attacking. Additionally, if you land the killing blow on a creature, you get a frenzied urge to feed on its corpse. You can either succumb to this urge or attempt to fight it; if you try to fight it, you must roll a d10. On a roll of 1-2, you fail to fight the urge and must feed anyways. Feeding on a creature you've killed allows you to regain 2d6 hit points, any excess being converted into temporary hit points.
Elswerians are a strange, slightly monstrous race of unknown origin. They have pasty, washed-out skin tones, looking almost as if undead, although they are not. They are capable of blinking effortlessly in and out of this physical plane, teleporting distances across the ground. They have pupilless, faintly glowing eyes, in an essence color similarly to NoWerians. Elswerian essence colors can be purple, pink, red, orange, or yellow. Eye color and magic color are the main ways Elswerian essence is visible; Elswerian blood is black, and thick like ink. Elswerians often have visible veins, large clawed hands and feet, and big jaws, capable of extremely strong bite power. They have a ton of small but razor sharp teeth in their mouths, that they lose and grow back often.
