Path of the Gravedigger
The rage of some barbarians is fueled by hate, and those barbarians who walk the path of the Gravedigger are fueled by hatred of the undead. Whether personally wronged by the living dead or simply despising them on principle, these warriors view the undead as abominations that make a grotesque mockery of life itself. All things are meant to end, and so Gravediggers harness their rage to end the undead, forcibly administering burials and last rites.
Grave Keeper’s Rage
Starting at 3rd level, your rage helps shield you from the dark powers of the undead. While raging, you gain resistance to necrotic damage, and you have advantage on saving throws against being charmed or frightened.
Burial Bash
At 6th level, you can strike your foes hard enough to bury them in the ground. When raging, you can use a bonus action to cause creatures you hit with a melee attack to fall prone. In addition, the target must make a successful Strength saving throw or become restrained; the DC for this saving throw equals 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Strength modifier. The restrained creature can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on a success.
Grave Keeper’s Ward
Beginning at 10th level, your rage forms an aura that protects nearby allies from the undead. While raging, each creature of your choice (including yourself) within 10 feet of you gains resistance to necrotic damage, advantage on saving throws against being charmed or frightened, and an additional 30 feet of darkvision. Additionally, you are immune to being charmed or frightened.
Thanatophobia
At 14th level, your rage can instill the fear of true death into even the coldest heart. While raging, you can force the first creature you hit with a weapon attack on your turn to make a Wisdom saving throw. The DC for this saving throw equals 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Strength modifier. On a failed save, the creature becomes frightened of you until the end of its next turn. Additionally, when you use your Burial Bash feature to knock a creature prone, you can force each creature of your choice that is within 30 feet of you and aware of you to make this Wisdom saving throw as well. This feature ignores immunity that the undead may have to the frightened condition; undead creatures that are normally immune to being frightened are treated as if they merely have advantage on saving throws against it.
