Tanookin Raccling

These Mythical Racclings are said to have been the first subrace of their kind from the Feywild. Tanookins have become more attuned to nature, with an understanding that all living beings flow with the currents of time. Gifted with the ability to transform into a statue, some Tanookin Shamans petrify themselves - allowing life to pass by - with the belief that their petrification will cease once they are needed again.

Racc Pouch

Tanookin Racclings have a natural pouch on their bodies. This pouch can hold 1 cubic foot/30 pounds of gear.

Statue Form

As an action, you can transform into a statue form of your choice, as long as it is small size. Until you revert, you gain the following. While in statue form:
  • +4 bonus to AC
  • Advantage on Strength and Constitution saving throws.
  • The creature has Resistance to all damage.
  • Immunity to Charmed, Exhaustion, Frightened, Paralysis, Petrification, and Poisoned.
  • You are transformed to stone, along with any nonmagical object you are wearing or carrying.
  • Your weight increases by a factor of ten, and ceases aging.
  • You do not require breathing, eating, drinking, or sleep while in this form.
  • Your speed is 0 and can’t increase
  • You automatically fail Dexterity saving throws
  • You can’t take reactions
  • The only action you can take is a bonus action to revert back to your normal form.
If you are killed in this form, you shatter into a pile of rubble. Once you use this feature, you must finish a long rest before you can use it again. If you remain in statue form for more than seven days, you may stay petrified with an inability to revert back to your normal form - up to the DMs discretion.
