Vilandian Elf

Blood, sun and dust elves are descendants of what people once called high elves. After the Elven Human Wars ended in 250 BV, it was defined a racist slang only used by elves who still believed themselves above all else.
Even before those wars, in events leading up to the Elaminulios Civil Wars in 1313 BV, elves began to split their territory and evolve differently, which caused new terminology to stir up for three kinds of elves.   Subraces not on this list:
  • Wood Elf (as seen in the official subrace)
  • Dark Elves have been replaced by Dust Elves
  • High Elves are almost extinct and are mostly replaced by their descendants, the Blood Elves
  • ability score increase: Your Dexterity score increases by 2.
    age: Although elves reach physical maturity at about the same age as humans, the elven understanding of adulthood goes beyond physical growth to encompass worldly experience. An elf typically claims adulthood and an adult name around the age of 100 and can live to be 800 years old.
    alignment: Elves have no defined alignment tendencies, but naturally long for freedom.

    Languages: You can speak, read, and write Common and Elven.

    Blood Elf

    Having lived in elevated and therefore safe cities for centuries, blood elves evolved to be taller than their high elven ancestors. They have warm and most of the time even pinkish or violet skin tones and usually pure light pink or red eyes but slightly less slender builds than their relatives. Other than that, they kept the traits of the now almost extinct high elves.
    Because blood elves are rare, it is most common to find elves who are only part blood elf and have adopted traits from their other ancestors.

    Cantrip. You know one cantrip of your choice from the Wizard spell list. Intelligence is your spellcasting ability for it.   Elf Weapon Training. You have proficiency with the longsword, shortsword, shortbow, and longbow.

    Moon Elf

    Moon elves are very closely related to wood elves and have separated themselves over the eons to adjust more to the darkness of the pine woods. They reside mostly in Mahina, which is why not many moon elves are used to sunny areas and other countries in general.
    They have brown, blue or purple skin tones of various shades and, like their other Elven relatives, uni-colored eyes, usually in shades of blue or gray. Moon elves are 5-7 feet tall.
    ability score increase: Your Wisdom score increases by 1, and your Dexterity score also increases by 1.

    race features:
    Night Vision. You have superior vision in darker conditions. In dim light, you can see 60 feet as if it was bright light, and in total darkness as if it was dim light. Unlike other races with darkvision, you can only see in shades of blue and gray.
    In moonlight (dim), you can see 120 feet as if it was bright light.   Silent Observer. As long as you are not moving or speaking, you have advantage on a perception check once per day.   As A Mouse. You are proficient in Stealth checks.

    Sun Elf

    Much like blood elves, sun elves also evolved to be slightly taller than their ancestors and have skin tones that range from a warm, deep brown to a white gold. Their eyes are of pure gold.
    Sun elves are often considered to be the oldest of high elven descent and make up the largest part of the elven population in Vilandia and are very friendly with nynx.
    Sun elves can be 6 to 7 feet tall.
    ability score increase: Your Charisma score increases by 2.

    Enhanced Darkvision. You have superior vision in darker conditions. In dim light, you can see 60 feet as if it was bright light, and in total darkness as if it was dim light. Unlike other races with darkvision, you can see in full color.   Solar Channeling. You can cast Control Flames as a cantrip with Charisma as your modifier.   Cantrip. You can pick another Evocation cantrip from any class with Charisma as your modifier.   First Heritage. You are proficient in Intimidation.

    Dust Elf

    Dust elves only came to be in 1331 after being cursed and banished by the sun elves as a final blow after the end of the war. Their entire race was originally a faction of sun elves in the civil war. Being ‘burned by the sun’, their skin is very ashen and often gray, their eyes uni-colored.
    Having had to hide from sun elves for a long time, they evolved to be shorter than their high elven ancestors.
    Dust elves can be 5 to 6 feet tall.
    ability score increase: Your Constitution score increases by 2.

    Keen Senses. You have proficiency in the perception skill.   Shadow Walker. You can cast Darkness once per day as a cantrip.   Caution. You have advantage on Wisdom saving throws.

    Fey Ancestry. You have advantage on saving throws against being charmed, and magic can't put you to sleep.   Trance. Elves do not sleep. Instead they meditate deeply, remaining semi-conscious, for 4 hours a day. The Common word for this meditation is "trance." While meditating, you dream after a fashion; such dreams are actually mental exercises that have become reflexive after years of practice. After resting in this way, you gain the same benefit a human would from 8 hours of sleep.   Darkvision. You have superior vision in darker conditions. In every lighting condition, you can see 60 feet as if it was bright light.
