Riding lizard is a domesticated version of the giant lizards of Underdark used as mounts. However, after successful trade relations with Eilistrean drow society, people in swamps of Lokinanda have bred riding lizards of underdark to their swamp-living giant lizard cousins to make a variation more fit to the wetland enviroment.   Riding lizards of swamp variety are 6 metres from head to tail, half of that is tail. Lizards are usually two colored, colors getting lighter towards the stomach, but otherwise darkly colored. Mostly they appear in hues of brown, green, orange and yellow, though sometimes black individuals are met. They often have stripes or other markings as camouflage.

Lizards are mostly found in swamps, wetlands and bogs
