Werebat

GoTverse Werebats are a race of Werebeast specific to the Game of Tomes universe (the GoTverse). Werebats are made, not born, as their abilities rely on the Bat Totem's acceptance.
ability score increase: Your Constitution score increases by 2, and your Dexterity score increases by 1.
age: Werebats reach adulthood in their mid-teens and live roughly a century.
alignment: Werebats do not tend towards any particular alignment.
Size: Medium
speed: Your base walking speed is 25 feet, and, and, in Bat form, your base flying speed is 30 feet. In Half-Bat form, your base flying speed is 40 feet.
Languages: You can speak, read, and write Common and Bat.
race features:
Darkvision. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can't discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.   Shapeshift. You can shapeshift between 3 forms: Humanoid, Half-Bat, and Bat. Shapeshifting takes one full action. After the 3rd shift without long rest, there is an increasing chance (25% per shift) that you are stuck in a form until long rest.   Echolocation. You can determine the locations of solid surfaces within 120 feet of you by emitting a shrieking noise. This ability works even in total or magical darkness, but requires the ability to make a sound.
Werebats appear nearly indistinguishable from Humans in their Humanoid form, and commonly take on a near-perfect guise of an bat in Bat form. What is truly unique about Werebats is their Half-Bat form, which is bipedal and looks much like an anthropomorphized bat.
