Weredino

GoTverse Weredinos are a race of Werebeast specific to the Game of Tomes universe (the GoTverse). Weredinos are made, not born, as their abilities rely on the Dinosaur Totem's acceptance.

ability score increase: Your Constitution score increases by 2, and your Intelligence score increases by 1.

age: Weredinos reach adulthood in their mid-twenties and can live well over a century.

alignment: Weredinos are slow to change and adapt, and value stability, so they lean towards the more lawful aspects of life.

Size: Medium

speed: Your base walking speed is 25 feet.

Languages: You can speak, read, and write Common, Dino, and one extra language of your choice. Weredinos typically enjoy studying, and can learn any language if given enough time.

race features:
Shapeshift. You can shapeshift between 3 forms: Humanoid, Half-Dino, and Dino. Shapeshifting takes one full action. After the 3^rd shift without long rest, there is an increasing chance (25% per shift) that you are stuck in a form until long rest. Old Memory. You have an extraordinarily good memory. You gain a +1 to any Intelligence (History) check. Tough Scales. Your hit point maximum increases by 1, and it increases by 1 every time you gain a level.

Weredinos appear nearly indistinguishable from Humans in their Humanoid form, and commonly take on a near-perfect guise of a dinosaur in Dino form. What is truly unique about Weredinos is their Half-Dino form, which is bipedal and looks much like an anthropomorphized reptile.
