Draconic Synergy: Domination

When a rider chooses to overwhelm their dragon, and do away with its individuality, their synergy shifts to a dark and reviled place. Often called "dark riders" by others, these riders are the only entity left in their partnership. Their dragons change visibly, and drastically, to reflect this loss of self and free will, and even the most patient of riders meets these members of their enclaves with distance and contained hostility. Others may be prone to attack out of outrage alone, and while these riders are still accepted in their enclaves, acts against them seldom see punishment.

Forced Assimilation
At 3rd level, upon choosing this synergy, your dragon becomes chromatic and loses its color. Instead, it becomes grey and its eyes turn hollow and glassy. If a rider of another synergy dominates their dragon through their draconic link feature more than 3 times, this change occurs drastically, and the rider loses all features belonging to their previous synergy type. Instead, their features are replaced with those found here.
A grey dragon's damage type is force damage, and it's breath weapon is a 15-foot cone of crackling energy.
Telepathic Lobotomy
At 3rd level, upon choosing this synergy, you lose the ability to use your draconic link feature. Instead, you may issue basic direct commands and your dragon will obey. Commands are limited to one word orders. You may use this ability a number of times equal to your Wisdom modifier, regaining expended uses after a short or long rest.
Paradigm Escalation
At 6th level, your control over your dragon is anchored. It has lost itself so completely to your mind that, as an action, you may command your dragon to use its arcane magic to polymorph temporarily into a perfect copy of you. This copy, like the dragon, remains mindless and cannot act or speak of its own accord. You may direct the copy to take actions, as well as cast spells through it. And skill checks you make, you may make the copy use the help action and gain advantage.
Mental Expansion
At 10th level, your mind expands and adjusts to occupy two creatures. You are now permanently aware of what your dragon hears, sees, smells, and feels, and can issue telepathic commands from any distance as long as you are on the same plane of existence.
Arcane Theft
At 14th level, you learn to steal the magic of your dragon's breath weapon. The next spell or weapon attack you make will deal damage equal to half of your dragon's breath weapon as force damage on a successful hit.
Assimilation
At 18th level, your dragon and you are one creature, in that your mind and essence have so fully overtaken your dragon that its body is merely a shell in which you coexist with yourself. You may now control your dragon directly during short and long rests, and may use an action in combat to submerge your body inside that of your dragon. This effect lasts for one minute for every two levels you have in the Rider class. During this time, you use the Young Grey Dragon sheet instead of your own. You may still use any spells you might know while this effect is active, and may consume a spell slot to change the damage type of your dragon's breath weapon during this time. If your dragon falls to 0hp while this effect is active, you emerge in the nearest adjacent space unconscious.
You cannot use this ability again until you complete a short or long rest.
