More focus may allow for more power. When you use your Eldritch Blast, you may choose to combine all the beams into 1 shot. If this shot does not have disadvantage imposed upon it, it is made with advantage. But if it has disadvantage, it is made with disadvantage like normal unless you even it out through another means. The damage dealt is equal to the number of beams you have + 1 more beam, but this shot cannot crit.
